We enter the strange worlds of Hiker Heaven and Hikertown to get our showers and arts and crafts on as we cross onward into the Mojave desert.

Having recently decided that one of our life goals was to visit all 59 national parks in the U.S., we were excited to visit Pinnacles and cross it off our list. Conveniently, the park is small and only a 2-hour drive from home, so we were able to plan a simple day trip.
After a very successful first camping experience in Big Sur, we decided to take it to the next level and go to Sequoia National Park for our 3-year anniversary.
